Lakes Taxis office is located very close to the train station and is available for luggage storage at a daily rate of £5.
Upon arrival at Windermere your pre-booked taxi will be waiting for you. If the taxi is not there he will obviously be ‘just around the corner’ please be patient. Windermere is a branch line and 
single track so we are aware of the train arrival and departure times.
There is a well-stocked supermarket called Booths sited on Windermere train station for any requirements you may have before your journey. Please be aware that you are not allowed to eat in the car during the journey. (this may be negotiable especially if you buy the driver a Higgedy pie!)
